 RETURN

to return
  to turn again
     towards a place
       a person
       a phenomenon
out of desire
   or obligation
     or to answer a call
       a curiosity
about oneself, the breath, the beloved

to turn again and again towards what matters is a devotion that can bring one closer to one's self -- to know one's Self more intimately and profoundly

in this way one has the incredible, the ineffable, capacity to return home

home in the most practical sense, and most profound
Home in the breath
Home in faces and eyes of others
Home in the body and mind

Returning to the moment, as it is, as a homecoming to faith, freedom and love.

 INNOCENCE AS UNWOUNDED

The Latin root of the word innocent has nothing to do with moral right or wrong, but rather the state we inhabited before our original wound...or any other wounds for that matter!!

It's our Natural State, our True Nature, that of being free from injury, wounds, pain and suffering.

All spiritual traditions point at this notion, via whatever language they use, as THE PLACE to return to again and again and again...
With practice we will ultimately stay, and never leave there again.

The paradox is we have to leave there in the first place to know the importance of returning to it.

We must know injury to know healing. The process of leaving and returning, forwards and backwards, is the process of transformation. This is how we come to know and grow into freedom and happiness in our lives and in our heart-minds.

May it be so that we all continue to return and remember our intrinsic innocence, our intrinsic goodness, our intrinsic lovability, and our intrinsic confidence to live from these places making more of this in the world.🤍
